If You Want to Save G+, Stand Up!
Keep using it until the bitter end!

I'm not going to let Google take this place away from us without standing up for us! I'm going to sign and share every petition to save G+ that comes my way. I'm going to post comments on the G+ page and send feedback. I'm also planning to stay here until the day Google shuts us down. In the meantime, I think it is important for all of us who want to save G+ to be as active as we have time for until the final day. Google needs to see that there are still hundreds of thousands of people still using G+. If we become inactive, abandon G+ or delete our accounts, it sends the message to Google that we're giving in and just allowing them to forcefully take away something we love. This doesn't mean we shouldn't start accounts with other social media sites or save our posts elsewhere in preparation for a shutdown. It just means that we aren't going to just "stand by" without voicing what we want. They may not give us what we want, but at least we will know in our hearts that we tried.

    Kerry Kook I agree. I have a lot of friends here. If Google+ shuts down, it will be challenging to keep in touch with all of them. They are going to several different sites, mostly MeWe.

    Thanks for the info on MeWe.

    I will be actively working on G+ for many months to come.

    Among other things, I am doing a lot of deep and broad social outreach.

    MeWe has some critical language limitations.
    Facebook and Twitter are evil.
    I expect to move to MeWe and Reddit.
    Minds does not seem to have the connectivity and traction I need.

    The loss of G+ is a true social catastrophe.
    Even just keeping G+ alive thru 2020 would have made a huge difference.
    I would argue strongly for that. Don't have any leverage.

    Retaining and restoring social connectivity is of high importance for many reasons.

    I'm all in.
