Quick question/suggestion for the admins (and everyone else):

Will there be someplace permanent (or at least long-term) where G+ expatriates can get news about surviving G+ communities (I mean groups of G+ refugees) after G+ itself is gone?

In other words, if two or three years from now there's (for example) a Kickstarter to re-create G+ as a member-owned community, is there going to be somewhere where we can go to hear about it? A "Google Plus news" site, so to speak?

I'd think that the Plexodus Wiki might be a good place for that, but I don't know if there's a plan to maintain it. Is there?

Thanks!

  3. Peter Maranci That is among the primary goals of #PlexodusWiki:

For now it just has a section and pages in which contact information can be entered (more likely: pointers to directories). Those should be populated with time. My intent is that both individuals and groups be discoverable through this, if they want to be.

The ability to set up directories and beacons is key to re-formation of communities at our new sites.

(There's a whole 'nother discussion of the interest in setting up a new and unassociated identity online, given that stalking, surveillance, harassment, etc., are ongoing concerns for many. But again, that's another discussion.)
