  1. Come to think of it - it's actually quite a rude move by Google to close down Google+ to those who helped build it up to what it is today?

We've been here right from the start, keeping the place active and shaping it to what it is today - and we're also the victims of the breach! And they shut us out? Once I've had time to let the news sink in it just came to me...

  3. Whatever the case may be it's a disaster that MeWe has been down for nearly an hour now.

  4. I realize that it can be very tought to deal with attacks on a website etc - but every second it takes them to fix this will diminish their reputation.

  5. Thomas Christensen Don't forget that Google is shutting down G+ to protect us, you know. Because it is impossible to get these APIs right.

  6. Jochen Spieker Yes, that's what they want us to believe - in reality they're just protecting their asses against a slew of lawsuits and Sundar don't want to end in the hot chair, getting asked any number of stupid questions from clueless senators, like Zuckerberg...

  7. Well, not to put too fine a point on it, but this is far from the first time that Google has shut down one of their services that everybody loved and relied upon.
