The developers of Solid, one of the open and distributed online publishing tools currently under development, are building a one-step importer to read directly from your Google archive.
If it's in JSON format.
The project has just been started. It doesn't work yet. But it's exactly the sort of thing I've been hoping for.
The developer looks promising. Some guy named "Tim".

We knew people would start doing this. You can save multiple copies of your data in different formats, just to be sure.
ReplyDeleteNote: It's extremely likely that most of the major players will have importers well before the end of life date of Google+, don't feel like you have to jump immediately on the first one.
