Outreach Work For G+ Migration: Time Is Of The Essence
Summary: I have now reached somewhere up to seven million members of G+ specifically concerning G+ migration. This is in formal terms. In actual terms the number is of course a small fraction of that.
However - and this is important - the signal propagates broadly and sometimes very actively so much is actually accomplished in real terms. By me. And also by myself.
There is a partial connection and very small win for a very major group G+ Beautiful Pictures. I give that communication below.
It is an example for outreach where the communication is extremely constrained by formal group rules.
This major group has no migration strategy. So I have contacted the owner on their group pinned thread.
Of course I will always direct people here where possible.
However sometimes communication is severely restricted and therefore incomplete.
Discussion:
I spend much of my waking hours working on communication and social issues. Like weightlifting and martial arts this is exhausting and you get to develop stamina.
Basically to do so you have to be [ or become ] a psychologist and a strategist and invest a lot of effort in active engagement. This looks to me like a rare skill set and approach.
For some major areas that is not only high reward work but critically important.
For people like me it is pretty much all about good karma. And building bridges where they are needed.
In my experience human communication is far more difficult than systems programming or studying highest level Buddhist teaching.
And largely unreliable and unstable. Also quite often irrational. Even frequently barbaric and orcish.
I handle tremendous amounts of noise and distortion and negativity. Basically lotsa intellectual samurai work.
There are many trolls and troll moderators on this platform. That includes pseudo-Buddhist troll moderators, Eurotrolls, and even pseudo-Buddhist Eurotroll moderators. No joke. Who effing knew?
I have outmaneuvered them all.
It's not fair but we are who we are. I get the job done.
And still we can expect to lose most online free speech fairly soon and lose most of western Europe in one hundred forty years.
Time is of the essence.

This G+ community and all other G+ communities will be shut down in April 2019.
The previous shutdown date was set for later, in August 2019.
Now we G+ community members have far less time to become informed and determine our individual and group future paths and to re-establish social connectivity.
I am very actively and very effectively working on major outreach for G+ refugee migration.

That is really unfortunate because there are well over three million members [ active or inactive ] on this group.
Nevertheless I have certainly contacted the group owner Charles Lozano and other members on this thread.
I want to reach as many people as possible to propagate the much needed technical resources that everyone needs to determine their individual and group approaches to migration as G+ refugees.
I have done a lot of community work of different kinds across this social platform.
More than eighty five percent of ALL Buddhist teaching here across ALL the G+ groups over the last thirty four months is by my hand.
For some groups that percentage is closer to ninety nine percent.
In that subject matter area I reached well over "four point one million people", active or inactive, often posting numerous major teaching articles to a single group, whether the group is very large or very small.
That is my job because I am a Buddhist spiritual doctor, the higher level kind.
In terms of outreach and technical assistance for G+ migration I have already reached three point eight million [ active and inactive ] members of different groups, including groups where English is almost not spoken.
I certainly expect to directly reach well over five million on G+ in the coming weeks and provide them the needed resources.
Clearly I emphasize social connectivity.
And other primary aspects of modern civilization.

There is a very technical argument.
It is based on massive demographic changes in and around western Europe.
It is a probabilistic argument and it is based on very broad historical investigation and analyses by numerous people.
I will not detail the stages here, but it has to do with deepening No Go Zones, eventual large scale balkanization, and an overall end state for WESTERN Europe which looks like an enormously large scale Lebanon.

At present Europe overall has no actual defense whatsoever.

The problem is that there is almost no way to develop the social infrastructure for effective commons defense.

This argument is broadly and deeply researched., not that I give the key references here.

It has to do with theology, culture, politics, law, and population pressures.
Formally stated, my reasoned expectation is this:
We lose much or most of western Europe in one hundred forty years, with a probability somewhere above fifty percent.
The problem is that we are ALREADY beginning to lose western civilization, defensible borders, free speech and so forth much faster than I thought.
There are major contingent problem areas. Key examples are Libya and Turkey.
Another key area to look at is the history of India and South Asia over the last thousand years.
Seventy million people were killed in South Asia. Biggest genocide in world history. And that is completely relevant to this topic.
So you can go read fourteen hundred eighty pages of Andrew Bostom.
Right now the main blocking problem is the desperate fight for free speech. Without that, we are lost. Free speech is in fact being shut down in Europe in several major regions, in particular Germany and the U.K.
Another major problem is to fight for equality under the law.
A third is to shut down all No Go zones.
At present I see no way to sustain or salvage most of western Europe. The key prerequisites for this work are lacking and they are disallowed.
The first step in stabilizing western Europe is of course to break up and tear down the European Union and re-establish large scale movements for civic nationalism and the social/ economic / legal integrity of European nations.
That cannot be expected to happen in the next ten years.
My expectation is that the European Union will definitely fall within twenty years, but that depends entirely on the Europeans themselves.
In particular it depends in large part on the millennials.
Unfortunately, the millennials in western Europe [ and also the USA ] are largely internationalist socialists.
They consistently organize for the bad guys.
This is not anything like 'entertainment'.
This is a real nail-biter.
I expect that we will lose, meaning that much of western civilization will be broken and crushed in many major parts of western Europe.
I have been working on this issue very seriously since January 2015.
The more I look at events and issues, the worse it looks, in the immediate time window and further down the road.
The key overall perspective comes from studying the histories of Lebanon and Yugoslavia over the last ten centuries.

ReplyDeleteCut your posts to 1/10th their length. There is too much to read here. Most of it does not matter to your audience. It actively gets in the way of your message.
I've tried to reach out to G+ Communities. It's tough. G+ is resistant to mass-messaging. Sometimes that's good. Here, it's bad. And Google themselves aren't helping at all.
I've also tried to get a measure of Communities. There are probably ~60,000 or so larger ones (>1,000 members), though many of those are inactive, possibly 90% or more. Finding active communities is hard. More details linked below.
Most communities I've contacted have been initially wary but seem to welcome useful guidance and warm up. wara zashi comes to mind. Being a familiar face helps: talk to your communities especially.
Put your message in terms of your audience's interests.
You've said a lot about what you want, and far more historical background than matters. This does not matter to your audience.
For dealing with an emergency or major upheaval, the basic challenges are:
1. Awareness of the problem.
2. Some idea of goals.
3. Knowledge of methods.
4. Knowledge of options.
5. Developing a plan.
6. Reaching group consensus.
7. Acting.

The hard part has been reaching out to G+ Communities. There's no comprehensive list of these, there are two Google+ Communities for Community owners & mods.

Even Google seem to have trouble reaching out to and engaging with Google+ Communities. There are a few posts on this in the Official group.
There's also the Google+ Help community, though that's been pretty actively hostile to the G+MM community. Several of its moderators are active members here, however, and relationship may start improving. It's been decidedly rocky.
For outreach, recruiting people to talk to communities, to ask about plans, and suggest planning and migration steps, is probably the best move.
Communities' biggest concerns are likely:
* Where to go.
* How to keep the group together.
* What, if any, data to migrate.

Think about data: what you want to keep, what you can delete, and how you want to use it.
If you plan to export posts & comments: Google does not offer a Community Export capability and likely will not for numerous reasons. As of December 2018, there are third-party tools for making a comprehensive data export, particularly the Friends+Me Google+ Exporter. This seems to work but poses some concerns, see discussion below.
Assess Google+ alternatives. You should now be eliminating unsuitable options.
Develop a goal-directed plan, timeline, and actions to achieve it. Act on it, NOW.
