Anyone else noticed that notifications are beginning to not happen?

  1. Nope - i got 5 in just the past few minutes. Probably a transient problem.

  2. Nope. G+ has always occasionally borked notifications. I'm getting mine currently.

  3. Maybe because those were notifications for collections and communities that have since been deleted in the wake of the news.

  4. Seem somewhat delayed, but still receiving them!!

  5. Well, mine are down to a trickle.

  6. It's very possibly regional. Central Europe is reporting "works for me".

  7. It'll be the same until August 2019.... Then they'll just pull the plug 🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌🔌

  8. Central Texas. I had a brief flutter of failure around 22:00 where I was seeing 3 in the Jingles icon up top but then no notifications when I pulled it down. It seems to have resolved.

My guess is that it was transitory and/or only part of the user-base.

  12. Naw. Teh GOOG are just gaslighting you specifically today, DL Keur. Feel the love.

Probably just a glitch in the matrix. I'd be very surprised if there was a major curtailment of service before April/May 2018. Likely starting with new account / community formation or something like that.

  13. Juha Lindfors * May not be suitable for use near event horizons.

  14. Mine are sort of back, not like they were, though.

  15. Definitely communities are slower. They have started degrading the experience to "facilitate" us moving out.

It's the social media equivalent of your landlord cutting off water and electricity to your flat...

  16. Piero FilippIN YEah. Those were my thoughts, too.
