As frustrating as it was that there were a lot of spammers who shared circles, the bottom line was that we grew quickly as a result. I hope someone can convince mewe to add that ability."

Tessa Schlesinger they broke the day the API's turned off. I still get community notifications and I've had one mention notification but that seems to be it now ☹️

ReplyDeleteA lot of us went to diaspora (pluspora etc) and friendica - mewe seems to have a far right loon problem.

MeWe already lets you recommend multiple people to others, which works much like circle sharing did. You just can’t pre-set a defined group like a circle.

ReplyDeleteAlan Cox I've been on mewe three months and I have not met a single right wing loon. Progressive politics, on the other hand, is strong. Mewe is the best option for Plussers. It's fantastic.

I do NOT recommend using their search engine (yet) to find good groups, but to ask friends if they know any.
Maybe we can revive some of the (3?) G+ expat groups there, might finally be useful.
