    (without the spaces, but GPlus loves misinterpreting it as email addresses)

    @{USERNAME@INSTANCE}

    Replace USERNAME by the username of the user, and INSTANCE by the domain name of their instance. Keep the brackets. Works for both the same instance and other instances.

    Example: @{whidou@framasphere.org}

    sanjuro ogawa yes. Most federated social media solutions do.

    If the user is on the same instance as you, you usually can leave the @instance.host part out.
