Friendica has all the Google+ features - and even more!

Missing/wrong in the spreadsheet:
"Collections" (BTW my preferred Google+ feature) in Friendica are called "folder" (not sure about the english term, in German it's called "Ordner").

Update 17/01/2019:
Better use "Categories", not "Folders"!
(You can activate the categories feature in the settings of your Friendica profile.)

  3. ALL the G+ features? That's not what I've heard.

  4. Mike Waters Look at the comparison spreadsheet: The only "no" (i.e. empty cell) was in the column for "Collections".

  5. Mhhh... there is still one problem:
How can I link to all the postings of one folder?
Maybe the Friendica "Categories" are the better alternative to the Google+ "Collections"...

  6. Jost Schwider Please let us know! :-) I will not even consider a site that doesn't let us categorize our different interests like G+. And so far, I haven't heard of any.

  7. Mike Waters OK, now I've made my decision - everything works as needed:
Friendica will be my new virtual home, because it offers everything I need - yes, including Collections! :o)

    Examples:

    My Friendica profile:
    https://squeet.me/profile/jost
You see my postings/articles and on the left side my "categories" (i.e. Collections!) and my used "tags" (Hashtags).

If you click on one of those categories, you get to all the postings of only the choosen category:
    https://squeet.me/profile/jost?f=&category=Politik

Maybe you have to activate this feature in the Friendica settings (additional settings/Tools.../Categories) before you can use it actively.
