The latest from Google+ Moderators
As I've commented there:
Communities are not pages on Google+. Communities are people, and organisations, and conversations and sharing that happened on those pages. The pages were the structure within which we've worked, but they are not the communities themselves.
Those communities are seeking to survive, and transition of G+, and to share with one another the considerations and concerns in doing this.
Long before there was any announcement to G+ Moderators, weeks before, the community was effectively shut down, and not merely by not allowing new posts out of the Hold for Review queue, but by actively deleting new posts, including those that were well within the established guidelines and practices of G+M.
When and others pointed this out and shared information of use to Community leaders, the previously pinned post was unpinned, though not deleted. It can be found here:

The Google+ Help community is NOT appropriate for Communities as it addresses all +G users (and frequently fields questions for non-G+ products). The moderators have also proved directly hostile to assisting Community and other Google users in providing and sharing information.
Again: the most vital thing for the survival of a healthy and thriving community when it is evicted from its home is to support its transition elsewhere, something Google are directly preventing.
Please help us at this time.
The Google+ Mass Migration community is open, on G+, for now:

There are numerous off-Google meeting points, the #PlexodusReddit is one such and can point you to others:

Thank you.

Closing Google+ Moderators
Moderators has been a wonderful community to develop and grow these past months, but it is now time for its journey to come to an end. We started this community to create a space for the community owners and moderators on Google+ to discuss common issues and collaborate. It has been so rewarding to see these discussions take place in Moderators, and we would like to thank each and every one of you for contributing to this community!
Moderators will be made inactive this Thursday, Jan 17. No new members will be accepted into our community and no new posts will be shared. All existing members will be marked as limited, which will allow you to access previous posts and conduct your data takeouts. While the community will remain visible to members, all new posts will be held for review and will not be published.
As you move forward with your transition off of G+, we encourage you to check out the resources available on Google+ Help Community: https://plus.google.com/communities/115758385206378551362
Thank you for all of your contributions to Google+ Moderators.
