From what I've gotten from researching them, they were formally the invisionfree/z10 forum runners(?) It's seems that platform has been completely scrapped.
So far, from what I can tell:
Centralized
Create groups
Mobile app ready
Desktop mode available
Paid and unpaid options for groups
Openly ad supported
Admin tools
Chat option
...that's about all I can glean on first glance. From what I can tell, experience when it comes to running a platform is readily apparent. I would love to get more impressions if anyone cares to check into it for themselves. I want to move my community to MeWe but I've been having reservations...I know it's late in the game, but I've been hesitating on moving my community for that reason.

It was originally for interfacing with forums. It did that well enough. I haven't touched it in about 8 years though.
ReplyDeleteOnly ever use it for Its primarily role as a forum scraper turning browser based forums into a convenient app. I think at this point their group stuff is pretty under used just now, its certainly not a G+ or social media replacement unless you want to create your own forum somewhere.
